Setting up ASDA Mobile handsets

Make sure you are able to use the internet and send picture messages on your phone with ASDA Mobile by making sure you have the right settings on your phone. It's easy with our free text service.

Use the ASDA Mobile settings text service by texting ASDA to 40127. Texts are free. You will receive a text back from ASDA Mobile confirming your request has been received. When asked if you want to install the settings, click 'YES' and enter the PIN 1234 when asked to do so. This will install both MMS and Web browser settings onto your handset. Or call us on tel: 0845 303 2732 and we'll help you get your phone set up correctly. To activate your phone you need to either make an outbound call or send a text.

Setting up ASDA SIM cards

If you joined ASDA Mobile by purchasing a SIM pack and have put the SIM card into your own handset, the chances are you'll need the ASDA Mobile settings to get picture messaging (MMS), WAP (GPRS) and mobile Internet working on your phone.

For the manufacturers below these settings can be sent directly to your phone via a text message. Click on your phone manufacturer's logo where you'll be directed to their support pages where you can select your handset type and ASDA Mobile network to get the correct settings.

Voicemail

• ASDA Mobile voicemail is automatically set up on your account once your phone is activated
• You can even personalise your greeting. Call 121, listen to the main menu options and select personal greetings and follow the prompts to record your personal greeting

Content Control

Certain websites such as gambling are restricted for use by over 18s. In order for you to have unrestricted access please contact our Customer Services helpdesk on 2732. You will need to provide proof of age by credit card or demonstrate with photographic ID in any ASDA store.

Calls to ASDA Mobile 2732 cost 25p when you speak with a ASDA Mobile Colleague for the total call - if calling from a landline your standard rates apply.
